About Me

I am a freelance writer/photographer and musician living with my wife, family, and pets in Monument, CO.

I love to photograph travel, outdoor, scenic and nature subjects and people as they interact with each other and their environment within these settings.

As a writer I am drawn to many diverse topics and locations and enjoy the learning process involved while researching and traveling for each new project. My writing credits include "Dive Training Magazine", "Military Lifestyle Magazine", "The Chicago Tribune Travel Section" and USA Swimming's "Splash Magazine".

I served over 24 years on active duty military service as a trumpeter with The United States Army Field Band and The United States Army Band "Pershing's Own" in Washington, DC. I still teach and perform actively in the Pueblo/Colorado Springs/Denver, Colorado areas.
